Its great to meet up with and put faces to the names so often heard and mentioned in the close-knit affilaite marketing network and talk about, yes you guessed affiliate marketing and nothing but juicy affilaite marketing.</p>

<h3>Here are our thoughts from last year A4U Expo&#8230;.</h3>
<p>We are Its the morning after the A4U Expo party and despite a bit of a hangover from the complementary champagne, there is still clarity in our assessment that this was the best London A4U Expo yet. With most of the major Affiliate Networks in the world present and all the top affiliates, affiliate commentators and online marketers  in the same room we were able to perform some serous networking.</p>
<p>Highlights were chatting with all the major cashback model guys who are raking in the profits for themselves and generating a vast amount of business and cash back rewards for hard-up brits. We&#8217;ll let you know about the impending launch of our new cashback website, TheCashBackKid.co.uk very soon.</p>
<p>Another highlight was the talk given by Kevin Gibbons from SEOtimise, where he pointed out his top 40 Social Media Tools &#038; WordPress Plugins. And the chaps from conversion rate experts gave a great seminar on improving the conversion rate of your website, including the eye tracking technology where a site users eye movement and focus can be monitored to see where the eye focuses and also record the steps &#038; time taken to complete a set process, such as finding and completing the purchase of a product. </p>
<p>We had a chat with Norwich based OMG crew, who were there in force. Carla Arrindell OMG&#8217;s Group Account Director, was one of the speakers  and she gave a great insight into the financial affiliate base in the UK.</p>
<p>Overall we had a great Affiliate Marketing Expo, gaining our clients affiliate campaigns some great exposure and signing up some talented affiliates. Next Stop London 2011. </p>

<p>The design focussed on displaying the quality of work that Revival Produce and showing as many examples of their prevous work as possible as well as Revival&#8217;s large range of services and products offered.<span id="more-330"></span></p>
<h2>New Website Design With Flash Player &#038; Content Management System Project Overview</h2>
<p>Key features were that the site be non-flashed based as the prevous site design had been made totally in flash, so organic traffic being generaed from the search engines was limited. The new website also had to have a content management system, as Revival were fed up with paying their prevous agency for minor site updates.</p>
<p>The website was designed with search engine&#8217;s in mind, with keyword research taking place before launch to ensure that the website stood the best possible chance of being indexed in the search engine results pages for relevant search terms.</p>
<p>Sharp Darts completed the project on-time, within budget and, as always well optimised for targetted organic visability. Meaning that this was an excellent marketing investment for another of our clients.</p>

<h3>So What&#8217;s Ahead? in this paid search network merger?</h3>
<p>There will be no immediate changes to advertisers Yahoo! Search Marketing accounts. Both companies are committed to making this transition as seamless and beneficial to its advertisers as possible. Their aim is a high quality transition for advertisers and partners in at least the U.S. prior to the Christmas holiday season &#8211; So over here in the UK we may have to wait until 2011 to see the merger in operation and we may have to wait wait until late 2011 to see the benefits.</p>
<p>Sharp Darts are pleased with this annoucement as this paid search provider merger should enable us to offer better value to our clients. Click prices should be lower and Adwords should become more competitive as they is a new force in the market now and with one less paid search platform to deal we can save ourselves time and our clients money so achieving a better ROI. </p>
